Does anyone have a set of recommended settings to use with with ZWO ASI1600MC Cooled camera?

I tried it last night with the default settings on an Ubuntu PC with USB 3.0, taking 80-90 second subs. Overall it seemed to work fine but I ended up with 8-bit images. I see that in the Controls > Format area there is an option for RAW 16-bit. When I try to select it, I get this message: 16 bit bayer format GRBG it not supported by the SER recorder.

Is RGB 24 the correct option?

Same issue for the ASI-1600MM-Cooled,

WARNING 12619.858052 sec : 16 bit bayer format GRBG it not supported by the SER recorder.

which I think is a weird bayer related error message as this is a monochrome camera.

It works though :

file Light_1000.fits
Light_1000.fits: FITS image data, 16-bit, two's complement binary integer

Btw, this Light_1000.fits gets overwritten again and again -> new bug.

Whatever the message is when you choose the 16bits format images are saved in 16bits.
The only thing that is disturbing is that the chosen option is not saved in the config. So you will have to not forget to check it each time you start indiserver and connect the device.

Greetings, I am running the latest indi-asi and kstars/ekos bleeding. I too, have an ASI1600MC-C. When I do a preview in 8bit, 24RGB, or Luma, it seems to work fine, but when I switch to 16bit RAW, it fails with this message in Ikos:

and this message in INDI:

There are no other messages, even with debug on.

When I set the format to 16bit, these messages are in the log:

Others are saying this camera works fine though. What am I doing wrong?
