Hello Everybody,

I own a QSI583wsg, but when I try to connect using Indi I get the error:

2017-06-29T18:15:20: Error: put_Connected(true) failed. 0x0:Cannot open camera connection.
2017-06-29T18:15:12: Attempting to find QSI CCD...
2017-06-29T18:14:07: Debug is enabled.

or

2017-06-29T18:28:28: Error: put_Connected(true) failed. 0xc8:Cannot open camera connection.
2017-06-29T18:27:52: Attempting to find QSI CCD...

I am running the latest virtual machine and I updated via apt-get the latest QSI driver. Virtualbox correctly detects the USB Device.
I am running Kstars/Ekos as ekos user and I already checked the FAQ related to CCDs.

Can you please help me? Thanks a lot!
Nicola

I assumed you already installed QSI driver on the host machine? Then there shouldn't be a problem, I have the same camera. Make sure it is powered and fan running.

Ehm...which driver? I actually did not install anything from QSI. What should I download?

Thanks!

Assuming your host machine is Windows, you need to install the QSI Windows drivers for it.

Oh yes, they are installed as I am using the camera with maxim. I thought you were talking about a Linux driver for the QSI.
