I can confirm the observations. I have both, the 120MM and the 120MM-S, i.e. USB2 and USB3 versions, and the 120MC. The USB2 version has framing errors all the time. I am planning to use that for testing a filter wheel and then retire/sell it. It should be good for Windows users, which is still the majority. The USB3 versions, MM or MC, work without a hitch in Ekos and Planetary Imager (tested only for the 120MC).
