I used my Raspberry Pi 3B+ Indi server in anger under the stars for the first time this evening. Things went ok except that my SBIG ST-i intermittently suffered timeout errors making guiding impossible. I was running a kstars (version 2.9.4) client on my MacBook Pro running High Sierra. My RPi has Ubuntu Mate installed and the I'm using IndiLib version 1.7.0 on the RPi. I'm connecting an SBIG ST-8300M (which seems to be working fine), an Astro-Physics Mach1, an AdaFruit MotorHat focuser, and the ST-i. I'm connecting the Mac and the RPi to the same wifi network and they're communicating wirelessly.
The ST-i sometimes captures exposures successfully but often does not resulting in a Exposure Timeout. Restarting Exposure message in the console.
I've tried the camera connected directly to the RPi and to the RPi through a powered USB hub and the behaviour is the same. Additionally, PHD2 installed on the RPi shows similar timeout behaviour.
