broadcastyourseb, can you add this to 85.qhy.rules file in /lib/udev/rules.d/85-qhy.rules and try again?

That's it. Same issue as in this previous post

Just add this line in the 85.qhy.rules file in /lib/udev/rules.d/85-qhy.rules (first part of the file)
ATTRS{idVendor}=="16c0", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0818", RUN+="/sbin/fxload -t fx2 -I /lib/firmware/qhy/QHY5.HEX -D $env{DEVNAME} -s /lib/firmware/qhy/QHY5LOADER.HEX"

The firmware is loaded when I plug my camera and the back led turns on. No more need the old qhy code. Everything is working fine.

Thank you Jasem.

This is the QHY5, normally it should work after adding the IDs to udev rules. As this device was added to the rules file in SVN: If you use the PPA or my Fedora repo, just wait for the update. Otherwise copy the rules file from SVN sourceforge.net/p/indi/code/HEAD/tree/tr.../libqhy/85-qhy.rules or reinstall libqhy entirely.

If it doesn't work after this it starts to be difficult…

Obviously, Yphrate, we have the same Qhy5.

Could you, if you manage to run your camera, take a picture with a frame (ie not the whole image).

In my case, I observe a freezing of this module. The qhy module is not anymore responsive.

I will make more test tonight to find what's wrong with my QHY5 and framing.
Maybe I have to open another topic for this issue ?

PS @yphrate je n'ai pas tes coordonnées pour te contacter en MP. Super d'avoir un contact francophone utilisateur d'indi.

No QHY does not work yet on ARM, waiting for QHY to fix the issue. There quite a few still issues with INDI QHY driver but it is waiting for code changes from QHY itself.
