Wrong Time Problem

Hi there!

When working with Kstars these days i realized that every time i start Kstars, the time is wrong by one hour.

I checked the settings in the mount tab, and it says utc offset 3. which is not right. But when i go to the locationsettings everything is right in my opinion. Dst setting is EU, what should be the right setting.

I have to say, that my system time is right.

Where is the fault?

Cheers
Niki

Is KStars paused on startup? Attach your log.

Hi Jasem!
Tested today in the morning with simulators.
And its not stopt on startup, time is counting normal.

Screenshots and Log attached.

The funny thing. in the site-setup it shows 2 hours offset, but in the mount settings in the driver section it says 3. and i can not change this to 2...

Shouldn't your UT offset be +1 at your location? Say like Münich actually?

I have to say, that i am a little confused bout that sometimes. But yes, same time as in munich. But i have to choose EU, or can i just make this setting in another way? Easiest would be if it would just take my system time...

I just tried Austria here and all UTC offsets are +1.. looks like you might have changed it inadvertently?

Oh boy...
Shame on me, i think i saw this far to complicated...
Thought it has something to do with dst setting.
Thanx, fixed it.

And i believe that explains a LOAD of Plate-solving issues i had.

cheers
Niki

OK, and NOW i found out why that didn´t work at first.
When i only change the setting to 1, and klick on the check, it does NOT save this setting for my location setup. I have to make a new one, then it works.
Just for the sake of completeness.
