Hi,
maybe user failure.....I had to reinstall my system. Kubuntu 16.10. I've updated the ekos libraries, and installed the driver for lx200 onstep. Everything works in windoze. when I try in ekos I cannot connect...... For the moment, I'm connecting locally.I cannot access the control panel to configure the ports. I've tried with the simulators, and it's still the same..... onstep(arduino) is seen by linux, and I'm able to upload firmware to it from the arduino ide.......
If anyone has any ideas..... I'd be gratefull

Hi Jasem,
thanks for your reply. Before my machine crashed, I was running 32 bit ubuntu 16. I was able to use eqmod. Since then I'm running 64 bit ubuntu 16, with an on-step controller. I tried to install from the PPA, and get errors......I'm unable to install bleeding ekos....
I've install 'all' drivers from the tar.gz, and get the on-step listed.
I've just retried from PPA, and it works.....guess I'm trying to do too much at once.
Thanks for your help
Well guess I spoke too soon.......
Kstars crashed after about 5 mins. Rebooted, and now I get the..... KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/kstars' error. do you have any ideas? well before I reinstall 32 bit (didn't have any problems with it)....
