Here are 2 screen captures of the astrometry tab of ekos. First one is from the Ekos virtual machine. The second one from my mate 16.04LTS installation.
As I can observe there is some disorder ins the second one and some checks have disappeared. Those checks were present in previous versions.
I didn't inspect other tabs.
The kstar versions are the same and the mate one is from last update.
Is there something I can to fix it ?

Hi!
Some of those checks were moved to the Ekos modules configuration page,
Update Coords, WCS, Verbose and Overlay are on that page now. The preview check is on the Advanced Tab.

Yes the two do have the same version number but they are not the same revision. The bleeding edge version of KStars has (on average) been changing on nearly a daily basis due to the fact that Jasem and others have been making huge strides of improvements very rapidly. An awesome piece of software just keeps getting better and better. The screenshot of the MATE installation appears to be the current (or close to it) revision. The one in your virtual machine is definitely an older revision. You can update your virtual machine one to the latest revision in the same way you update it on a real machine. I definitely would because I do not know exactly which revision the top one is, but I don't think it has Jasem's new dark library, which is a great improvement.

Oh also from looking more closely at your virtual machine screenshot, I think that revision was also before Jasem included the option for darks in plate solves and before he added the "settle" parameter which allows the mount a chance to get settled on the target before doing the next iteration of the plate solve process.

Yes sorry for the rapid updates. I actually made another KStars GIT branch "bleeding" so I can develop comfortably without fear of breaking stuff. Once I test it out thoroughly you should get the changes at some point.

Don't worry Jasem, that wasn't a reproach :) just a question.
Your work and the one of the developer team is just... remarkable.
Kstars/ekos/indi will become a must for the amateur astronomers hardcore Linux users .
I am trying to convert my club colleagues to use these tools ;).
