Perfect! it's ok! :woohoo:

Incredible support from you. Thank you very very very much.

During next days i'll make a test connecting also my Celestron Mount and if ok i'll start to use EKOS during next live session.

Hi Jasem,

sorry but i need your help another time: i found another problem about sony

yesterday i prepared and tested some sequences to use during live session:

-with exposure >= 2 seconds it's everything ok
-with exposure <= 1 second can't take the frame (log file attached with long and short exposure)

i have also a question about bias frame: max speed of sony is 1/8000 but the exposure time in ekos can't go under 0,001 second. How should i set exposure time to take a correct bias frame?

thank you

Can you submit the INDI GPhoto driver logs as well? I will try to fix the bias issue

Can you please turn on the complete debug log before you press connect? I need to see the initial properties of the camera because it seems that it's getting stuck in finding optimal exposures under 1 second which are usually taken from the camera's predefined list (e.g. 1/4000)

i hope this is ok.

and i have another question: about "Save" option in configuration of GPhoto CCD in INDI control Panel, how does this should work? every time i connect Camera i change options and then click "save" but every time the options reset to default. I tried to click "LOAD" but nothing change. "Save" botton should create a file?

Hi Jasem,

Had you tried to fix the issue for exposure <= 1s?

Thanks

No you didn't Debug & Logging on before you connected as I asked. Please do that, the log file would be big and contain all your camera properties.

So if you check the file yourself you will see no obvious property for pre-selected exposure times like 1/8000, but one drew my attention:
DEBUG	25.162365 sec	: d21e:
DEBUG	25.162401 sec	: * 0: 16777215
DEBUG	25.162430 sec	: 1: 25
DEBUG	25.162459 sec	: 2: 100
DEBUG	25.162488 sec	: 3: 125
DEBUG	25.162516 sec	: 4: 160
DEBUG	25.162545 sec	: 5: 200
DEBUG	25.162575 sec	: 6: 250
DEBUG	25.162603 sec	: 7: 320
DEBUG	25.162631 sec	: 8: 400
DEBUG	25.162660 sec	: 9: 500

So it could be that it is set to 0 --> 16777215 which is 2^24 (BULB?) while the others are used for microseconds? I don't know, please ask around in GPhoto mailing list or elsewhere, find out which property listed in that file is the one used to select the shutter speeds and then I can update the driver accordingly.

Hi Jasem,

I asked in GPhoto mailing list. i had a reply to my post.

Could you help me? I think there is something strange in reply post: i believe that indi-ekos use last libgphoto2 but Marcus said that libgphoto2 2.5.6 and newer decode the "shutterspeed" option for Sony Alpha....
