Hello.
I have a problem using EKOS with Canon EOS (I tried two different model camera and same problem occurs: T3 and T3i). I use the EKOS virtual machine on debian testing.
When I try to take a picture in remote with ekos. First shoot is ok, but other ones are not good at all. The picture is squared ....

I need to disconnect Device to reconnect it and take only one new image. And so on ....

Hi!

The second is a subframe of the first. How exactly did you take the pictures, with the capture module in Ekos? What is the image parameters in the Capture settings, that is, X and Y (height and width)? Are the correct, that is, what size is your camera chip?

Please update the drivers, it used to be 1392x1392 by default which is why you get the subframe. You can update it 4296x2856 in Ekos capture and it would capture fine.

mlarsson: Picture was shot with exactly same parameters in a sequence.
knro: VM was updated with
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade
I will try to update the size but for now I have another problem I do not understand (even if I reboot .....)

EDIT: apparently a lot of CCD entry (like canon dslr) has been removed from combobox....

Are you sure the upgrade completed successfully? It looks like something went wrong during installation process. If you have TeamViewer, email me details and I'll try to take a look.

OK, I did see the problem was easy to fix.

However, I don't know why indi-full was removed because I've just updated ....

However, first problem still remains as 1392x1392 is the highest value I can enter:
