Hopefully this also addresses the issue in my list. Looking forward to giving it a test!

Hi.
I tested the sequence with the latest Ekos.
The auto guide using external lin_guider worked perfectly and dithering was successful.
The sequence was not aborted and worked Great!
thank you!

Hi,

I could not test the update due to bad weather. I hope to do it tonight.

Thanks,
Olivier

Hi,

Tonight, I was able to test the calibrating an guiding after doing the update of Indilib, and it's worse than last week. The guiding is aborting at any time. Sometimes after 10s, sometimes after a minute. It's very randomly.
It never finished the first capture (120s) of a sequence nor just a preview when the guiding is launch and that then that one is aborting.
I tried differents exposures 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1, 1.5, 2, bin2x2, with or without subframe, with or without dark, box size : 64, 128, pulse : 1000, 1500, 2000.

Thanks for your help,
Olivier

It seems that yes, I read often the same message while calibrating and guiding :
Exposure timeout. Restarting exposure
It's Ok for polar alignment and astrometry solver.

Have you tried a USB hub rather than have your three USB devices directly connected to the Rpi?

The Rpi has limited milliampere shared between the four USB ports. It's about 1.2Ma I think. A decent 3A USB hub overcomes a lot of worries.

Hi,

Yes I've tried a USB hub tonight and there is the same problem, or a bigger problem : now it can't finish the calibrating after this message : Guide RA: Scope cannot reach the start point after 30 iterations. Possible mount or drive problems (with and without hub).
On the other hand when I'm using EKOS directly on Raspberry without going through the Mac as a remote, everything works. Not practical to work on a 7 "... :)

Sounds like Jasem fixed the issue, but we will need a new dmg with the changes to fix it on Mac. I will do that in the next day or two. Right now I am in the middle of getting the one-click astrometry.net index file downloads that I made work for the Mac last week work for Linux as well. Should be soon.
