Selecting "mount control" is aborting kstars was created by Paul

I am running Ubuntu Mate on a Raspberry Pi 3 with up-to-date kstars / INDI and connected to Losmandy Gemini as the mount, running in local mode.

Whenever I select the [Mount Control] button it aborts to the command line but leaves the INDI server running as when I restart it a warning dialogue is displayed.
