I did some tests of EKOS using Ubuntu Astronomy distribution. One issue I noticed is that INDI connectivity fails on first time usage on a file dialog on most items, like saving a sequence. Another longer standing issue is that zooming in on FITS images can lockup kstars due to high cpu load. Are there any magnification settings possible on mouse scrolling? Both in kstars and fits image dialog you can get a full zoomed-in window with a small scroll movement!

Set "Limited Resources" mode in KStars --> Configure --> FITS
