Sorry for my very newby question, but I'm not able to find the checkbox that should enable dithering in the Ekos guide panel, as explained in the Ekos manual : indilib.org/about/ekos/guide-module.html

Where is it ?

My setup : QHY5II as guide camera with on-camera connection to the scope ( it guides just fine ) and CCD simulator as acquisition camera.

Thanks !

I have been unable to dither using PHD2. I thought my settings were similar to the example in the Stellarmate guide.

I set up my light frames in EKOS and (in one trial) expected a dither after each exposure. There was no delay between exposures, and there were no trails in the exposure to indicate the mount was moving during the exposure.

Is there a more detailed guide for dithering? If not, what logs do I need to collect to aid in troubleshooting?

well, I suspect it didn't work because your mount was not the correct one! Select CEM25 and not EQMod.

I should be using CEM25 and not EQMOD with my EQ6 Pro? I am using the Shoestring USB to serial connector to the mount.

Sorry, I thought I was replying to someone else. So no, use EQMod of course. Is the internal guiding working with Dither?

Did some testing last night with the internal guider and the ST4 port on the mount. There was no apparent dither. Here are the guiding and configuration screen shots.

Hopefully, the relevant log file is also attached.

There is a checkbox next to "Dither" that is unchecked!

Too obvious. Sorry I took your time. I'll bet it works better with PHD2 when it's checked as well. :-(
