FOV Symbol for camera

In KStars I have created FOV Symbols for my camera with the different lenses that I use with it. These symbols are shown as rectangles and they always are in AltAz mode. I have checked all KStars menu items and the Handbook but I cannot find a way to change this.

So my question is: is it possible somehow to make the rectangular FOV Symbols be displayed in Equatorial mode instead of AltAz mode? This would help me greatly with planning my imaging sessions and framing the objects as well as possible.

I assume so, because mine is currently equatorial. . .

But I'm sorry I don't remember if I set this at some point.

Thanks! That gives me hope that I might be able to solve my issue. If at any point in time you remember how to do this before I figure this out then please post that here.

Press spacebar and switch view to equatorial.

Thanks Jasem! I just found this option as well and that works so I'll use that as a workaround. However, Rob's image shows that his camera frame is equatorial in the default horizontal view. Still wondering how to do that

I am not sure if this is new in KStars 2.9.2, or if I simply overlooked this, but there is a "Lock to Celestial Pole" tick box ;-)

It should work now regardless.

In the "Edit FOV Symbols" Dialog, just to make sure you see the option.

Yes, that’s what I was referring to.

yeah this was added in 2.9.2. The reason some users do not want the FOV to rotate as they move across the sky map, so this option when checked rotates it with respect to the celestial pole.
