Can't get more than 1 image in FITSviewer.. was created by Markku

Hi all!

I've tested this on 3 different computers, one 32bit and 2 64bits and the result is the same. When taking only 1 image, saved it and closed it and taking another image everything is just fine, but when leaving the first image in the FITSviewer and taking another image then Kstars/FITSviewer will crash, all software installed from ppa and latest versions.

Can you post a screenshot of your FITS settings?

Yes, I have tried many settings but it doesn't make any difference.

Ok I fixed the crash. For now, just enable the following:
+ Use FITS Viewer
+ Single Preview FITS
+ Single Window open

Until KStars 2.9.3 is released.

Should the auto WCS be checked under normal circumstances...?.

That was probably the only combination I never tested but it works :) So just waiting for next release.

Hi AstroBitz,
I've just tested that once before reading the the help text for that option but my computer didn't like that :( but with my new computer it works fine :)
