How to tighten internal guiding?

I recently started using internal guiding to simplify my process. Works well because now I have round stars but I would have to say they are a little soft. I don't think its focus because I focused just before the shot.

How can I tighten up the guiding? I didnt find any settings help in the guide module manual. Maybe it was poor seeing that caused the soft stars?

It depends mostly on the focal length of your guide scope. With 160 mm I get guide RMS of around 1.1" and with 280 mm I get 0.7". I use all default values except for 2x2 binning (instead of 1x1 binning == no binning).

I see. Yes my guide scope is 176mm so that would explain inability to get better than 1”
