Automatic Exposure calculation for Flats is faulty

I was trying to take Flats with target ADU of 50 (8 bit per pixel) and tolerance 1. The calculation started correctly and reduces the exposure times, but then it starts jumping around, please see screenshot.

Increase tolerance. Flats are normalized when used for calibration, therefore the precision of the mean ADU is not critical.

Hi Eric,

I used a different starting exposure and it works fine. Its just seems after like 5 iterations the algorithms screws up and alters the exposure in the wrong direction. As you can see in the screenshot:

exposure was 0.026 seconds and ADU was too high, but it actually increases the exposure to 0.080 seconds. That does not make sense to me.
