The latest update of kstars-bleeding seems to depend on libqt5core5a version > 5.4 and this is not met for ubuntu 14.10. Is there a work around for this?

I tried a fresh Xubuntu 14.10 install and get the following:

Seems like there are still some dependencies problems...?
