I know there is a QT5 dmg available, there's CloudMakers Indi server dmg package too. I wonder if it's possible to concentrate only on the kstars/ekos dmg package only after installing the previous two.
I managed to get the indi part compiled, thanks! I have to head out but will try the rest later. Thanks again for all the help.
(I did a make uninstall in gsl, then just removed the dir and unarchived again, then redid a configure and make - then did the cmake in build/libindi).
I have mine in usr/bin and you have yours in usr/local/bin. That doesn't matter I don't think. And I heard from Adam before that 10.12 almost forces you to use /usr/local/bin
So the xml files are going to determine what shows up in the drop down menus in Ekos. By the way, if you want to run something on a remote server, like an SBIG camera, and you don't have the driver actually installed locally (maybe because the driver would not install properly or something--I have this problem with 64 bit KStars and my SBIG camera since SBIG did not release an ARM64 driver yet), you can still copy the XML file into the directory on the local machine. Obviously if you try to connect the device locally it will not work, but it will work great with the remote machine and it will show up in your profiles.
