I'm pretty amazed by how nice the sequence tab looks like in the current Ekos. I just have a minor idea: to include a Sun < altitude value constraint (and/or something equivalent, like including starting and ending times). It would be interesting for night timelapses, meteor hunting, etc. I'm thinking on a particular case:

'Take pictures like crazy between astronomical twilights' (i.e. when the sun is <-18º) and repeat it forever. a 'Fixed Position' (AZ, Zd) will also be nice there (not only astronomical objects).

Are you talking about Capture or Scheduler modue? In the scheduler, you can specify start and end times. The scheduler is "hard-coded" to stop at dawn (unless it is already parked).
