TOPIC: Remote astrometry solver

Re:Remote astrometry solver 3 weeks 5 days ago #18743

Perhaps you can start by monitoring the session bus messages. Have a look at wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingDBus . It's for Ubuntu, but the tool is provided in the installation folder of KStars. I'm not sure how the implementation behaves under windows though.

Thanks, I'll have a look.
The weird (and frustrating) thing is that I can see the solution in Indi control panel and Kstars status bar. It's only Ekos that does not get it.

There is no DBus involved here. Put breakpoint in void RemoteAstrometryParser::checkResults(INumberVectorProperty *nvp) in remoteastrometry.cpp and see where it leads from there.
