I connect my Losmandy G11 Gemini 2 to kstars/ekos through the INDI web manager /raspberry Pi 3.
In the INDI configuration panel (Mount tab) we can find a focuser section.
This focuser is also made available in the Focus tab of Ekos.
Of course, I have no focuser.
This is not issue, if I just do not use it.
However, when switching to another filter, ekos initiated an AutoFocus process.
As you can guess, it could not be completed.
The worse is that I had no means to stop it: I had to disconnect INDI and connect it back.
I could, as a workaround, take a manual preview with the next filter to avoid triggering AutoFocus process.
But this is, of course, very cumbersome.
Is there a way to avoid this autofocus operation? Or to remove the Losmandy focuser (so that I can perform a manual focus)?
Because the Losmandy Gemini 2 shows up as a focuser and so does the Microtouch, when starting up, if only one has been loaded, at that moment, it is selected.
Since the order of startup appears to be random sometimes the real focuser is selected and sometimes the "fictional" Losmandy Gemini focuser is selected and when that happens the autofocus routine fails.
