I am experimenting with chaining RPi machines running indiservers. Is it possible to query remotely a running indiserver process in order to find out which devices have been connected?

My primary machine should find out which devices have been connected to the different indiservers before starting up the primary server chaining all the other machines. I am thinking about a sort of a discovery function.
