HI guys
Been a while since I posted on the forum but become interested in the Rasp Pi development recently and just got a Rasp Pi3 today.
I've installed Raspian Jessie on it and Kstars/Ekos with all the Rasp Indi stuff. I'd like to be able to use my Pi3 to control my EQ6 mount,Atik 314 ccd and Lodestar guider wirelessly from my Windows 10 64bit machine but not sure how to go about it, what apps would I need on both machines and then how to configure them would be great if poss please?
thanks
Steve
Unfortunately, wINDI is just another INDI server, not INDI client. I'm afraid, that the only answer for true cross-platform solution is something like this
If you have installed Kstars/Ekos on the Raspberry Pi you want to use something like vnc to control it from a windows machine.
I don't know how well the RPi3 can handle Kstars/Ekos on it and if it is very slow you might want to run KStars/Ekos on a virtual machine on your windows pc instead.
Thanks for that Max I`ll try it later!.
Must admit controlling one pc from another is not something I`m that familiar with let alone using different OS`s to do it neither am I familiar with virtual drives too must do some more homework;-)
