Hello, I installed ubuntu astronomy this weekend. But I had a problem at the end of the installation: a message informing me that the installation has failed. After restarting, grub disappeared and on screen: grub-rescue>
I had to reinstall grub, and after rebooting, I found that ubuntu-astronomy and my other partitions were ok
My config:
iso : ubuntu_astronomy_16.04_250916_64bit
1 ssd with two partitions, ubuntu16.04 64bits & ubuntu-astronomy 64bits
1 HD with my /home partitions
I recovered the grub using a live session of ubuntu and boot-repair

You can try to install it with terminal:
sudo sh -c 'ubiquity gtk_ui'

neither I have. But I took a look to the git site and there is a driven procedure so you can open the git using this.

I see AstroCC in the screen picture, have you updated to use Astro Image J ?
