Raspian on Raspberry Pi 2
Linux astro_server 4.4.13-v7+ #894 SMP Mon Jun 13 13:13:27 BST 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux
Followed instructions and built INDI including all 3rd Party.
Before doing this many devices were available in the Ekos select devices but after doing this very few are available.
Nothing under Telescope
ZWO, Atik, firefly and QHY under camera
What actually determines what devices are seen?
I am trying to test the Microtouch Focuser but can't get through this issue.
2.2.0 is old and unspported, 2.6.0 is the current version. I suggest you install Ubuntu Mate on Raspberry PI to make sure you are getting the latest stuff. Or you can try compiling KStars yourself as well on Raspbian.
After further investigation and trial and error I have come to the conclusion that I am currently unable to bring kstars up to date while running Raspbian so will investigate running Ubuntu Mate on the Raspberry Pi 2.
I have created Ubuntu Mate on my Raspberry Pi 2 and installed Kstars and INDI.
It is now version 2.4.0 of KStars.
The INDI drivers directory is /usr/share/indi and contains a drivers.xml and includes a number of xml files including indi_sx.xml.
INDI was brought up to date using the instructions on this web site for Ubuntu. libindi1 and indi-full
I do not however see any devices from kStars.
When I examine the group CCDs in the drivers.xml file, I see only the following drivers
label=CCD Simulator name=indi_simulator_ccd
label=DMK CCD name=indi_v4l2_ccd
label=V4L2 CCD name=indi_v4l2_ccd
