Hello.
I finally managed to run indiwebmanager on raspberry pi 3, and everything works perfectly.
When I am in the simulation, the only problem is "Got no star." I have tried to carry out all necessary checks, and I tried to reinstall, following the procedure indicated on the web page without getting any positive results.
I do not understand why. Please, you can help to me solve this problem?
I tried the command sudo apt-get install gsc in the same directory which has the bincat package, but every time I receive the message Unable to locate the file.
I tried to unzip the file and repeat the command, with the same results.
I have two raspberry ft3 with raspbian OS Jessie.
The current equipment is composed of a Synscan mount, many telescopes, Image source CCD, Nikon CCD, Meade focuser, and I would use the same system to drive a radio telescope.
I started the construction of an observer, and the goal is to drive everything also remotely.
Thanks for collaboration.
hmmm only problem I saw this before was localization issue. Is your system in English or another language? But it should matter since it was solved. But just to rule this out, try to switch to English (if it is not already) and try again.
Hello.
The language is English.
I tried to install the package with both the installer and the terminal, but when I install it with the installer, after a few minutes, the installation stops, and when I install it via the terminal, going to the directory where the package is, I get Unable to locate the file.
I tried a new SIM with the new OS and with the update, but the result is always the same.
The Raspbian version, is the 2016-05 jessie. The 2015 versions do not work on this new raspberry raspberry ft3 because it is 64-bit system.
I start to go crazy, but I think INDI Ekos is the best system for our observatory.
If you want a painless installation, I recommend you go with Ubuntu Mate on RPI3 since then you'll get the PPA and don't have to worry about installation stuff from source or even deb packages.
I followed the advice, and I switched to MATE.
Locally, everything seems to work well.
I just want to ask if to install indiwebmanager, I have to follow the normal procedure.
