I have linux mint 18, kstars v 2.7.0, LX200 Generic indi_lx200classic v 1.0.
I connect the telescope to the PC by a RS232 link.
I do not have RA and DEC, and I can not control motors
Can you help me

What is your telescope? It is not responding to commands at all

My telescope is a VIxen GP with GOTOSTAR . Normally, it uses the protocol LX200 .
I'll redo the tests tonight.

Try using LX200Basic driver with it.

hello!
I changed the cable of connection. Now, I can use LX200 AtroPhysique, but LX200 Classic does not work correctly. Can you help me to understand the logs. One log for LX200-AP and the other for lX200-classic. I want use lx200-classic for the pulse guiding.

In case this is still needed ...

The GotoStar is the predecessor of the iOptron GotoNova 8400 upgrade kit, from before the company was called iOptron.

There is a working GotoNova driver in INDI, and using that should work. I did not try guiding though.
