Hi everyone!
I have Vantage Pro 2 with IP data logger. I hope than somebody did it before. I know that INDI driver work with USB data logger, therefore I have a question: How to connect my weather with indi based software? Can I use USB to TCP converter for it and will it work well?

I don't know, is the IP data logger command set similar to the USB one, except it's over TCP/IP instead of USB? Or is there more to it? Any docs?

Replied by Derek on topic Vantage pro 2 and Ethernet

Looks like the IP data logger pushes data to weatherlink.com. Does not seem to expose an http api on the station itself. At least its not documented anyway....
page 36 here www.davisnet.com/support/weather/downloa...rotocolDocs_v261.pdf mentions the weatherlink.com http api.

The existing wunderground indi driver could be adapted to use the weatherlink.com api instead.

P.S. Also there is a small python app to poll and collect your data > github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/weatherlink
