Hi :)

VM is Virtual Machine : indilib.org/download/viewcategory/13-virtual-machines.html

I'mt trying using atik's drivers on it.
-> indi_atik_ccd works well.
-> wheel hangs out with error :
/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 : version GLIBC_2.17' not faund (required by indi_atik_wheel)

Step to reproduce :
1) launch VM
2) install libindi0b
3) install atik drivers
4) launch indi_atik_wheel

Yeah, I forgot the ATIK drivers are distributed as binary only, hence the issue with glibc and incompatibilities among different distros. Peter has to weigh here.

Now I understand :-) I will check what's wrong with ATIK wheel and glibc in INDI image.

I used Ubuntu 13.04 to build my packages before. Now I uploaded new packages built on Ubuntu 11.10 and it seems to be OK on INDI image as well.

Hi,

Many thanks for the Linux driver for Atik!

Today I tried to install indi on Ubuntu 12.04 but it seems too old for the driver. Anyway I tried the atik_test to check if it works at all. Unfortunately the test says it's not able to connect to the camera. Any hints on that?

version 0.4

list

-> AtikCameraImpl::list(...)
'Atik 314L' [0x4b4, 0xdf2c] found...
-> AtikCameraImpl::AtikCameraImpl(..., Atik 314L, 2)
<- AtikCameraImpl::AtikCameraImpl
<- AtikCameraImpl::list 1

open Atik 314L

-> AtikCameraImpl::open()
usb_detach_kernel_driver_np() -> -1
usb_claim_interface() -> -1
serial # 0000000000
failed to connect device!!!
<- AtikCameraImpl::open 00

Atik 314L test failed

Solved! It seems I run it with user with not enough access rights.

Hi Milosz, it seems, that you don't have 99-atik.rules installed in /etc/udev/rules.d ... Otherwise you need no special user rights to run it. Peter

You're right. Ubuntu 12.04 doesn't have dependant packages in proper versions. So package installation failed. I only uncompressed it and run atik_test to see if it works.

Do you have any idea if the armhf driver works on Beaglebone Black (have you tried)? IMO it should. I will be checking that shortly.

Cheers,
