Transferring config between computers.

I have recently loaded up a new machine to replace my existing INDI/Ekos platform and I was wondering if there was any way to transfer my configuration settings from one INDI/Ekos install to another. It can be as simple as a listing of all of the files that INDI/Ekos saves when making changes. I can manually copy those files if necessary to replication my configuration and profiles to the new computer without having to recreate them all.

INDI driver settings are in ~/.indi

KStars local files are in ~/.local/share/kstars

KStars settings in in ~/.config/kstarsrc

If you copy all these files to the new location then you should get an identical setup.

I have done that procedure several times in the past, just follow Jasem instructions.
But I would add a notice, do not open KStars before copying the config files and make sure you have the same or newer versions on the new PC.
I had problems with this at the time.

Awesome. Does this include the equipment profiles in Ekos as well? I have two or three different setups I use and would like to make sure those all transfer.

I just did this and can confirm that the profiles copied over as well. Awesome. Thanks for the help.
