Rapid Guide is new feature of the next INDI Library release that enables very fast and reliable guiding. It performs automatic star selection and guiding within the CCD driver, so the analysis is done as soon as the image is captured. No need to send the frame back to the client to process it as this will add some overhead. While I usually guide the regular way without RapidGuide, I decided to give it a try today and boy it performed very nicely! I am still capturing frames of NGC2174, but the results are so far excellent!
