Hi Folks,
I'm sold on this idea but I'm still a quite unclear on the setup, is the Pi acting as a go between for the pc and scope or is all the software on the Pi and accessed via teamviewer or VNC?.
I use Backyard Eos and don't really want to give that one up, I want to have the plate solving, mount control eqmod, flats light and BYE working together.
Thanks
For any help

Hi Campbell, better approach is to run INDI server with necessary drivers on the Pi and INDI client of your choice on on the PC. Peter

You run INDI server with all the drivers on Pi, then use a client on your PC to control them remotely.

Brilliant!, thanks for the quick reply guys. Ekos doesn't work on windows if if i've read right so to get the whole system running would the pc have to be running OSX, Linux or perhaps dual boot the windows pc with Linux and have that side completely for scope control?.
This is a great system by the looks of it, I'm building a micro obsy unit with a roll top roof that is just big enough to house the scope and this looks perfect.

No need to compile INDI, just download the INDI Packages for Raspiberry PI
