AAG Cloudwatcher port?

Hello All,

I am using the Virtual Machine with Ekos. I don't know which port to configure to connect to my AAG Cloudwatcher. I don't use a serial2USB cable, I have a real RS232 port on my industrial PC. Can anyone help me? On windows it is the COM4 but I don't seem to see it from Ekos or from Indi. I would need also a little help on how to tackle the issue.

Thanks a lot
Nicola

From VM, can you see your device? your port? Most likely it should be /dev/ttyS0

But that assumes VirtualBox supports legacy serial ports.

I'm still trying to read mine from kstars/ekos.

I don't have it connected to anything other than a lan ethernet port to my Dome's mesh router.
There is no serial port? I likely have mine setup wrong? = (
But I've been using it for over a year as is. (it closed my dome in windows) when clouds came in?

My sensors are outside - a cord runs to the PI(cloudwatcher). There are two power cords on it.
and nothing else other than a lan cord to my router?

The cloudwatcher is a PI - and has 4 usb ports on it (not used).
Do I have something setup wrong? If I reboot it, it can take 12+ hours to appear at its IP address.
So I like have it setup wrong.
Any ideas?
