I noticed another bug with the "what's interesting" tool. No crash this time but a weird behavior and a little embarrassing. The window of this tool opens normally, but as soon as you click on the map, it goes in the background of the main window, as shown in the video. After a few manipulations, I manage to put "what's interesting" in the foreground, but some buttons (those below) are unusable. I close the windows of "What's interesting", I restart "what's interesting", and there, miracle, everything works normally ...
I'm on Ubuntu 16.04.3 64 bits, with Gnome-Shell. I will test with KDE or Mate to see if I have the same behavior ...
By opening "What's interesting" tool, Kstars opens a second window. The problem seems to come from that. By closing and reopening the tool, no more second window and normal behavior. :
