EKOS do not read indi path from kstarsrc or $PATH

EKOS do not read indi path from kstarsrc or $PATH was created by max

I try to setup a custom path of all indi binary or lib.I can now run it from shell.
But ekos refuse to read indi path from ~/.kde/share/config/kstarsrc or system $PATH.
No matter how I config ,ekos only search indi binary from /usr/bin.
Is this a bug?

That's because you can set indiserver path in KStars options --> INDI. You took the hard way and didn't look at the options first :-)

Kstars crash every time when I press OK button in the Kstars options window.
So I set the path directly in the config file.

This mean, ekos don't use the config file kstarsrc ?

Max, KStars config will read settings from kstarsrc file, and Ekos uses the indiserver binary as specified there. This is what I have in my kstarsrc file:
[indi]
filterAlias=1
fitsDir=/home/jasem
indiServer=/usr/bin/indiserver
singlePreviewFITS=true

If I change it manually and restart KStars, I can see the options reflected. Are you sure you are editing the correct kstarsrc file, do you have multiple installation of KDE or something akin to that?
