Hi, not sure what has been triggering, except for trying another laptop with a newer EKOS release. After issues encountered when capturing images, following polar alignment I returned to my ‚standard laptop’, which I used before successfully. However, issues remained, i.e. whenever attempting to capture an image, the exposure countdown is being started in endless cycles.

Log file attached. This seems to be the critical part:

ZWO CCD ASI071MC Pro : "[DEBUG] ASIGetExpStatus failed. Restarting exposure... "

Can anyone help or advise what to do?

Many thanks,

Helge

Quick revisiting: Tried again tonight, all fine now. Not sure, what made the issue disappearing, but I am not complaining...

This is the same problem I have now with my ASI1600MM. I have tried reinstalling, rebooting and trying over and over with and without other accessories. I can't get the ASI camera to work. After one or two exposures, I get the same error:

[DEBUG] ASIGetExpStatus failed. Restarting exposure...

I solved my problem by switching back to a USB2 cable instead of the USB3.
