Tracking rate not changing after slewing to the Moon or Sun

I am a couple of weeks behind the bleeding edge because of make issues and running on a Raspberry Pi 3 with a Losmandy Gemini 2 G11.

After slewing to the Moon or the Sun I was expecting it to change the tracking to the appropriate rate but this did not occur.

Is this the expected behaviour?

No, that feature is not implemented yet. You have to use the INDI panel, and it depends on your mount being able to track at that rate.

Eric,

Thanks for your response, the mount supports it but at least I know it is not a programming problem.

I have not been able to try it yet, but does it also switch back to sidereal when not pointed at moon or sun?
Good stuff.
