Hi

Lately I'm having trouble getting the offline solver ti work. Online is ok. I'm usiing Xubuntu 14.10 and not Kubuntu, but this haven't been any trouble before. Every thing else is working fine.

I get the following trying to solve offline:

~$ /usr/bin/solve-field --no-verify --no-plots --no-fits2fits --resort --downsample 2 -O -L 19.3223 -H 26.6952 -u aw -3 222.642 -4 74.0858 -5 30 -W /tmp/solution.wcs /tmp/fitsSX6414
Illegal instruction (core dumped)

In Ekos I just get the message: Solver failed. Try again.

Can I do anything to investigate further...

I just tried with latest version from PPA and it worked fine. What version are you using?

My version is 0.50 r3747.1

If I build astrometry.net from source as described on astrometry.net website everything is working ok

Could it be some dependecies/libraries thats missing and are there ways for testing that?

Hmmm I'll try to install a clean test system and install astrometry.net from the repo and see.
