I've installed it on my TV and it runs gently and smoothly. That's looks a nice product.
Next step is in your hand.

On my side I'm waiting for my ordered CCD camera for guiding, planetary images and testing the focuser! before doing the most expensive step, buy the Deep Sky CCD!

I've just seen yesterday that the driver for FocusLync as been install on my PC (From PPA I expect)

As I've got my CCD camera for planetary and GUIDING, I've tryed to use it yesterday evening. Unfortunately it doesn't works.

I can't connect to the focuser.
The debug mode shows:

From the GtkTerm, I was not able to connect too, untill I change the default speed to 115200 baud. After that I was able to send the <F1HELLO> and get answer (! FOCUSER).
I'm looking for how to set the speed of the /dev/ttyUSBx throught google, but even if I set it with stty, ekos is still not able to connect to the focuser.

Any idea how to proceed?

Well, the focuser driver is not yet ready yet, but I thought the connection speed was 9600? Is it 115200 for all Lynx controllers?

I've found no information related to the speed for FocusLynx or other Optec controler. This is only when I tested my connection via terminal I found that the FeatherTouch Digitial Focus Boss II is running at 115200 baud. I've tested few speed and conection settings before I found this working one:

115200 bauds
Bits : 8
Parity : none
Stop bits : 1.

I'm not able to tell you for the other focusers from Optec.

Driver is ready for testing now, it should be available in the PPA tomorrow. Please do not forget to enable full debug/logging to a file.

Unfortunatelly it doesn't work.

Still not able to connect. I'm on Ubuntu 15.10, the Kstar-Beeding. apt-get update and upgrade has been done.

How to be sure I've the correct indi_lyx_focus driver installed , the version display in EKOS is teh 1.0 and the content log in debug mode is :

From serial terminal I can get anser form <F1HELLO> Command, that means no right access issue to the port ttyUSB1

There was a problem handling the response, please try again with tomorrow's PPA update (or compile now if you want to try today).

Today update package, but nothing has changed. No connection to the focuser.
Please have look attached document.

In the meantime from your last proposal to compile the driver, where could I donwloaded to do that?

As the message between driver and focuser via the ttyUSB device is in plain text (as "<F1HELLO>") I would like to precise that my configuration is localized for Switzerland, with Swiss-French Keyboard, in case the functions used for communication could be influenced by these parameters.

Do you have TeamViewer? We can setup a session and I can look closed at this issue.

It's not install yet, but I can do it this evening. My local time is GMT + 2, one hour less than you, that means It coudn't be done before 9O'clock, for your local time.
Other possibilities, is that I take with me tomorrow my PC and the fosuser controler (Without motor, but connection could be done without it, already tryed via terminal) on my job and you can connect when you want during the day.

Let me know which one is the must confortable for you.
