Am testing the RPi driver with my 5 position wheel

Just found a gotcha in the Xagyl command set. The jog commands "(", ")", "{", "}", "[", "]" all require a following value even though this is ignored.
Because the driver issues these commands without a following value, it can enter an inescapable, time-out loop.

...also noticed that undefined commands, "I9" & "O6", are issued. See attached log.

So I can put any value and that's it? "(0", ")0" ... etc?

Sorry - meant to spell that out. I got it to work with a following "0". e.g. "{0".

Hi, I was going to test last night but it appears to me that the RPi download has not changed since I last installed. Change date-time is still 2015-10-14 22:12:24. Is there somewhere else I should find the updated driver?
Thanks

It is updated daily, you can ignore that time stamp.

Sorry - I did not understand.http:
To business:
I retried and found a new problem as shown in the client window
2015-11-03T12:33:46: Error retreiving data from XAGYL Filter Wheel, please ensure filter wheel is powered and the port is correct.
2015-11-03T12:33:46: I9: Timeout error.
2015-11-03T12:33:14: CMD (I9)

This occurs immediately after connect is pressed. Connection never completes and things come to a halt.
I note that "I9" is not a supported command.
I used a serial terminal to find that when "I9" (without CR) is issued, the wheel never responds.

Do you know what firmware version you have for the wheel?

It appears that firmware versions prior to 3 do not support pulse width. At any rate, the driver now handles both versions.
