I had to remove explicit dependency on libcfitsio3 and it worked OK (it is there but called libcfitsio2). I actually emailed the maintainer from Debian to find out why 3 become 2 now, while the version is 3.370 !!
Maintainer replied. He said the version is indeed 3.370+ but the SONAME (library version) is .so.2 now after they agreed to "stabilize" the ABI with the upstream folks. At any rate, things will work fine, but Peter needs to update the packaging.
Good luck, the upgrade bricked my system. It took me almost all day to manually get everything working again. Kstars was the most difficult one due to some silly python-kde4 reference. Mostly everything is working now, but for me it was the most buggy upgrade I have seen in the last 10 years. Excluding Windows of course
I'm encountering some problems. Since the 15.10 update, I've lost icons in the CCD window. Also the capture process continues after the max image number was reached.
