That solved this issue. Thanks!
I will take it out for a real-world test spin later this week.

One question please Jasem.. the fix you made was that to INDI or EKOS?
I used Stellarmate's updater to grab your update, but I was not watching which file was updated. Many were.
I now wish to update my Macbook's version too - and need to know where to get the new update. Thanks!

Jasem, I just used my rig last night. I was running KStars/EKOS under OSX in my MacBook and everything was perfect. But then I quite KStars and opened up VNC and connected to the same Stellarmate and this error popped up again!

I'm trying to switch from serial/USB to Ethernet control on my iOptron (iEQ) mount, using the StarFi wireless adapter.No trouble at all running this mount from Ekos using the Serial/USB interface. Just want to do it without the need for a cable, converter, and extra USB port.

I've followed the suggestions in the thread above.

Went into KStars/INDI Control Panel
Selected iOptron CEM25
Main Control Panel -> Disconnect
Connection Panel ->
Toggle Connection Mode from "Serial" to "Ethernet"
Connection Type: TCP
Server: TRYING TO ENTER IP and PORT HERE

I get a flickering mouse cursor when hovering over the Address Box, but can't type anything into the box
I've tried clicking the "Set" button on the right. No change.

HOW DO I ENTER MY IP AND PORT INTO THIS PANEL?

Please see attached screenshot.

Thanks for your help!

Peter, have you noticed any difference in guiding performance using the Starfi rather than Pulse Guiding or On-Camera Guiding? I'm looking to use the starfi instead of Serial-USB but I'm scared that guiding pulses will be slower getting to the mount. Any thoughts or input are appreciated! Wes

I have not tried a comparison yet. So far, its working fine, but I think I get some clear skies again I will try that. Clear skies are a rare thing here on the equator.
