I am confused by the instruction 'PHD2 selected in KStars as your guider'.
I have selected SX CCD Lodestar as the guider and under Guider type selected PHD2 - is this what is meant?
The software seems to have trouble controlling the mount.
I do not have a mount selected in KStars and have the mount selected in PHD2 as On Camera.
Can this work?

If you use PHD2, do not select the guider in Ekos. Leave it empty. You must fully control the guider in PHD2 (via INDI or whatever means). In Ekos, select PHD2 as the guider and when guiding is required, Ekos shall send commands to PHD2 to start/stop guiding.

Jasem,

The bit I am confused about is how to select PHD2 as the guider, I do not have PHD2 in the dropdown list.

I am using Ubuntu Mate with downloads upto date on Thursday after the recent issues were fixed.

You actually select PHD2 in Guide Module options, but I also added it to the dropdown list in the latest build. So in a couple of hours update your KStars and you should see it in the dropdown list for Guider.

Does this drop down work when using INDI Web manager? I have not been able to get it to work.

Currently I need to use the INDI Web Manager, as local will not allow all my devices to connect.

Hi,
Please confirm, is this the correct spot to get the INDI Web server update: github.com/knro/indiwebmanager

Or perhaps I misunderstood which GIT was fixed.

Thank you

It was an issue with KStars, so KStars GIT. There might be a PPA update in few days.
