Hi -

I hope it's okay to put this sort of thing in the forums. I encountered some issues installing INDI to my Pop!OS (Ubuntu-derivative from the System76 folks) box, so I tried with my very tiny (Netbook) install of Arch.

The problem with the "Get INDI" instructions for Arch Linux on the website is chiefly that they reference the yaourt script at a couple of points, to install packages from Arch's AUR (Arch User Repository). Unfortunately, yaourt no longer exists -- it's been supplanted by other "AUR helpers." I used one called yay, and it worked really well. yay and some other alternatives to yaourt are well described here:

itsfoss.com/best-aur-helpers/

I used the instructions on that page to install yay, then used yay to install the packages mentioned on the "Get INDI" instructions.

Thanks,

Glenn
