I notice Jasem has a PPA for kstars-bleeding. Which is something I am interested to try out.
Wonder if it would be possible to add builds for astroberry for it (so Debian Buster on armhf).

I am willing to contribute if needed.

I doubt this will happen, the Astroberry PPA is only updated with stable versions, as in new and beta versions there are always loads of bugs and the developer of AB does not have the time to sort them all out as he does this for free, so he will only update his PPA with stable versions, when all bugs are sorted, which I personally prefer…..
I am sure he will correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt they I am….

I was rather thinking the other way around. ppa:mutlaqja/ppa currently only contains builds for ubuntu. was wondering if other platforms, such as raspberry pi, could be included there.

The latest version of kstars there is just 3.5.4. Which is also available in the normal repositories. Wanted to try out some 3.5.5 nightly builds.

As I already explained the author of Astroberry is not going to do this, please read my other post….

to get nightly builds of Kstars, you need to pay for Stellarmate, as they are available there….

Astroberry installs the stable releases for the best overall experience. If you wish to experiment with the nightly for the latest beta features, you can compile it for yourself locally.
