Backing up KStars equipment, profiles and settings

Backing up KStars equipment, profiles and settings was created by Trevor Bryant

Is there a way to backup KStars equipment, profiles and settings? Are there certain files that contain this information that can be copied to a USB drive or other source?

Hi,

On a Linux machine, all those files are located under

~/.local/share/kstars

The file userdb.sqlite contains profiles for instance.
That's the file you want to backup.
You could edit that file with sqlitbrowser in needed.
