Astroberry and ASTAP was created by sergio

On PI4 I have installed Astroberry last year and I have upgraded/updated the environment systematically, but the ASTAP version is always the old one( Version ß0.9.300 dated 2019-11-17). How can I update this software safely?

If astap is installed via an APT-Repo then the following command works:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get --only-upgrade install astap

Otherwise you have to download the package and install it e.g. as follows
wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/astap-program/files/linux_installer/astap_armhf.deb/download -O /tmp/astap_armhf.deb
sudo dpkg --install /tmp/astap_armhf.deb

Using

apt-cache showpkg astap

one can see that it‘s not in any repository. So you‘ll have to download the package yourself and upgrade manually. I created an issue for Astroberry so one‘s able to fing this info.
