MI_CCD_USB (G2-8300) Not detected

Hi everyone,
I find it odd that anyone hasn't reported this yet. My G2-8300 stopped working since version 1.8.9~202103011149~ubuntu20.04.1
Every version since that is broken, the camera is present via lsusb but it's not detected by indiserver, I get :2021-09-19T10:50:02 Unable to establish:+ MI CCD (USB)

I have to downgrade to libindi1 version above to get it working. If I keep the lindi1 version but downgrade only the driver it also doesn't work, so
I presume its lindindi1 that is broken or udev rules maybe???  KStars version here is irrelevant as the problem occurs with every version i tested.

Does anybody have G2-8300 working with current INDI server?

Hi nMAC,

I have my G2-8300FW working with the last packages available from PPA stable repo:
indi-full (1.9.2~202109141834~ubuntu20.04.1)
indi-mi (1.8~202109141612~ubuntu20.04.1)
libmicam (1.0~202109131857~ubuntu20.04.1)

Also at least with the previous versions:
indi-full (1.9.1~202106280946~ubuntu20.04.1)
indi-mi (1.8~202107070054~ubuntu20.04.1)
libmicam (1.0~202011211549~ubuntu20.04.1)

What I get though is a timeout in the first connection (while the filter wheel is homing), but immediately it connects OK. This was happening from a while ago ( see github.com/indilib/indi-3rdparty/issues/425 ).

Not sure if that helps.

Hi Sergio,
thanks for answering my question. I have just updated all my files and it still doesn't work I keep getting
"2021-09-24T20:44:09 Unable to establish:
+ MI CCD (USB)
Please ensure the device is connected and powered on."

Even after 2 or 3 times. The filter wheel doest even start... ohh well I will have to revert again to the old version :-(
Everything works except the G2. Maybe someone finds out whats wrong.

Update: I have reinstalled exactly the file versions you said and it's working now.
It seams it's the dev it's broken. I forgot to turn off the dev ppa, that one is not working ok. Thanks!

Regards
